There are so many uses for these versatile 5" squares. Each pack has 8 pieces in a corresponding colorway and stitched together with a button.  We use them for applique and my favorite use is to make pennies for the Penny Rug pattern.  For the smaller penny rug you would need 6 different colors.  Another option is to use three colors for the top pennies and use the same color for all the bottom pennies such as a dark blue, green, brown or black.  Packs will contain different wool textures and wool will vary.
