This project was designed by Julie Porter for the Ferncliff Retreat 2025 attendees.  The mini punch was done by Julie Porter.  Because I couldn't access all the necessary thread colors she used I punched the same design using the ones I was able to get and substituting for the rest to make it look as close to hers as possible. The rug hooked piece was done by Carolyn Hanson and I did the applique piece.  Julie gave us liberty to use the colors and size we wished to make them. I am only selling the left over kits from the retreat.  When they are gone I will not be making more.

FERNCLIFF RETREAT RUG HOOKED KIT

This is the hooked version of the design. The kit includes a color image, the pattern drawn on primitive rug hooking linen, and wool cut into size #8 strips. 

Finished size is approximately 11.5" x 17.5"

FERNCLIFF RETREAT APPLIQUE KIT

The applique kit changed up the color from the original.  Julie gave me total freedom to "have at it" and "have fun" and I did!  The bunny is grey because my son had a favorite grey bunny growing up.  The kit includes the full size pattern,  grunged background fabric, wool, color photo and basic applique instructions. 

Finished measurements are approximately 13.5" x 18.5".  Price includes shipping and handling.

FERNCLIFF RETREAT MINI PUNCH KIT

This version of the design was made using a miniature punchneedle.  The kit includes the line drawn image to use to trace onto the fabric and an image printed on freezer paper to iron to the cloth and trace, color image of finished project, weavers cloth and Valdani #12 pearl cotton. Punchneedle instructions are not included.

The finished sample is shown displayed on a removable sleeve for a blank sketch pad. Kits for the sleeve are available and include fabric, fusible interfacing, notebook and basic assembly instructions. 

Finished punch area measures 4" x 6".  Shipping and handling is included in the price.
